I am quite satisfied about the art displayed in this book. I already loved the game, and the art created for it is great. Art design played a big part in the game's success, and you can see the love the designers had for the characters and the game itself.

Wow! This book is packed with color photos of characters and the landscapes from the game. I dont even play video games but book is really an art piece I planned on using as inspiration for builds on my YouTube channel Cobwebs and Candlesticks. It's a stunning book!If you actually play the franchise your probably gonna be over the moon with it. There are no cheat codes or game mechanics in this lovely volume just tons of concept art, sketches and landscapes from the game. This book is 223 pages of awesome!

As a person with a lot of interest in art- I love "The art of" books. This is one of the greatest ones I've read. The art is gorgeous, the notes provide information about the general idea and thoughts behind each iteration in design, and there are a lot of early sketches for things that are in the game.My only complaints are about the book's order. It really goes all over the place and it's quite annoying to read. It shows 2-3 pages about a certain level, then jumps to enemy designs, then after 20 pages we're back on that level they showed earlier. Enemies and characters are scattered all over the book instead of their own category or order. The book is divided into 4 chapters which supposed to indicate the stage that every art is from and supposedly walk us through the production. But it honestly doesn't feel that way. it feels like the book is just disorganized (sometimes I would even look at the page number to make sure that a page doesn't belong 100 pages back).Regardless- it was a very enjoyable book. I very much recommend it to anyone who is interested in the game's design or art production in general.
