Not a bad movie - I actually liked this one more than the last "Avengers" movie. And considering that 'most' of the Avengers were in this one, (and they also introduced Spiderman and brought in Antman), it was pretty much like a full on Avengers movie anyway. While I do enjoy the series, at times it sort of feels like they are stretching out the story just to make a movie. This one got confusing with the 'fake identities of a doctor' and a weird machine holed up in a Hotel room in Germany. But all in all, it was a good movie.

Second time watching this. First time, I thought, wow was a great movie, not sure I take it over Winter Soldier though, but real close. The second viewing gave me a better understanding of the plot. The main theme was trust, choices, and fracture of relationships. The Avengers(not an Avengers movie, but still) are being tested by the greatest threat to day. Inner conflict. Without talking about the plot, I will say the conflict, trust and emotion in this movie's plot are central and the characters betrayed them very well. The climax was so emotional, we get how we got here. Beyond the regular characters, having Black Panther and Spider-Man here was awesome and the airport scene was the closest thing to an Avengers movie it will blow you away. Truly the best of the Cap series. Rent or buy and enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this movie although the Tony Stark argument made absolutely no sense. So count me as Team Cap. That said, the movie was truly spectacular. I loved the performances and the characters were nicely integrated into the storylines for Avengers and other Marvel movies. I'm not entirely crazy about this version of Spiderman and certainly NOT the Aunt May character for this movie. But they didn't take away from my complete enjoyment of the movie. The BR and digital versions have crisp clean video as they should and although my sound system is an aging 5.1 system, the audio was clear with ear popping surround sound. There are some great special features including behind-the-scenes featurettes and commentaries rounding out a very nice addition to my library.

So, I had seen almost all of the Marvel movies when I saw Captain America: Civil War, however I hadn't REALLY paid attention to them, like I had watched them with friends who like Marvel and I enjoyed them but that was about it. Well I went to see CA:CW in theaters with friends... who are fans of Marvel... and it was a game changer. This movie was AWESOME! I loved it so much that I went home and over the next 2 weeks re-watched every MCU movie, including the ones I hadn't seen yet and now I LOVE the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Civil War is probably tied for my favorite of the Marvel movies.(Team Cap! Not just because he is pretty, Ken dolls aren't actually my type, I actually do legitimately agree with him.)

It is hard to watch the heroes on opposite sides, but the film does an excellent job of giving each side a good reason to believe they are in the right. Featuring the introduction of Spider-Man and Black Panther to the MCU, this film is so full of heroes you would think it was one of the Avengers films rather than a standalone Captain America film.

I am in the process of collecting the entire Marvel Universe set of movies in 3D as is my preference. I own a 2013 Samsung 55" television and it provides a wonderful picture.

Probably one of the best Marvel movies yet. I was a big fan of Avengers, probably have seen it over 100 times, but this is better. Spiderman wasn't in it for long, but it was still pretty awesome that he made an appearance. The 3D was good too. I have been leery of 3D Marvel movies ever since Avengers: Age of Ultron because it was lacking the 3D depth that the 1st Avengers had, and they admitted that they didn't want to be a slave to 3D in that one so it makes sense. Civil War, however, had the depth that you would expect for a 3D movie.I just hope Robert Downy Jr. doesn't get too old and die before they make the rest of the movies. You can't replace him as an actor for his role. The new Spiderman is my favorite yet.

Save for the lack of both Thor and The Hulk (who were working on "Thor 3 - Ragnorok") this is very much like an Avengers film. Tons of great action, lots of drama, humor, the introduction of Black Panther, the latest version of Spider Man, and a funny performance by Ant Man...and you have the last "Captain America stand-alone movie" if you can really call it stand-alone. It has everything you could want in a Marvel Universe superhero film...and more. If you haven't seen it yet, you are missing out on a super-charged entertainment flick.

I love the movie, the only thing is I didn't like who plays Aunt May, she's supposed to be older than that lady they picked that's for sure, and I hope back panther gets he's own solo movie. just make sure you check twice before you hit the "order" button, I could have sworn that I chose the DVD option when I pre-order which is the reason I bought it on the 6th of the month because i wanted to receive the DVD on the day it came out on DVD, because I didn't want the digital version, but I cant do anything about it now so I'll have to buy it twice.
