Took me awhile to get around to seeing it but I’m glad I finally did. Definitely entertaining ��♂️ I do have to say that 5 sec gay scene felt forced.

I just watched the most wonderful movie, ‘The Green Book!’ This movie was about a time when American norms were even worse than today…involving the deep south and the hatred and injustice of a past Jim Crow era. Nonetheless, a time when an average white guy and one of the world's best performing piano players, a black man, shared a working relationship….that later became an incredible friendship. If you want to to share in the joy and happiness that this movie will certainly elicit…I encourage you to watch it. This movie will bring tears to your eyes!

The movie is based upon a true story. CRT advocates may have trouble with it? Viggo Mortensen put on 45 pounds to make this movie and play the role of a low I.Q. street smart Itlaian borderline mafioso who takes an unusual gig while between engagements. It is filled with pathos, humor, angst, twists and turns, a little action, and a lot of great music. It's an uncharacteristic role for Viggo, although he does it perfect justice.

I've been wanting to see this movie for a long time and was not disappointed. It was a great story. A white man who needs money, has a family to support and has spent years working in nightclubs answers an ad. He is surprised at the black man who is going into the deep south to play concerts and then is surprised at how people treat his boss. He can play for them he just can't eat with them or stay in their hotels. It makes him angry. He learns a lot, they become good friends and when they get back home they spend Christmas together. I've read they stay friends until the end. The movie was put together very, very well and I loved it.

I saw "GREEN BOOK" about 4 years ago in my local multiplex cinema. What a fantastic movie this was with Viggio Mortenson playing a stellar role. I honestly think he should have received an Academy Award for Best Actor, but they ended up giving the black man named Dr. Shirley an Academy Award. After four years passed by, I decided to buy this DVD on .com to view movie in the comfort of my home. This movie is ideally produced for adults without all the fast-actions and shootings one would see in a JOHN WICK movie.
