Two of my favorite submarine movies are The Hunt for Red October and Hunter Killer.I don鈥檛 know why 鈥渆xperts鈥?think this movie is bad, but then again, I rarely agree with those people. Maybe once every 2-3 years.

It's been said that there hadn't been a good submarine movie in a while; "Hunter Killer" certainly fills the bill. Butler cast as the sub commander along with a star studded cast for a technothriller a' la Tom Clancy going from a recon, to a undersea rescue, to a hostage rescue to prevent a coup d'茅tat of Russia.

I don't concern about the plot of this movie whether it is reasonable or not. I like the image and sound qualities of this 4K uhd move with a lot of action from the beginning to the end. It is a good entertaining movie for me to spend 2 hours at home.

A good action movie. Gerard Butler is rock solid and the action holds you fast. Well worth the buy if you are either a Gerard Butler fan or like a good action flick. Enjoy.

Arrived as planned. Received the digital version through iTunes. Bluray + DVD + digital is great. I dont really plan to use the blueray or DVD as long as I have iTunes version, but, who knows if Apple goes the way of the dodo bird.

I am admittedly a submarine movie junkie, so I might be biassed. Lol. But I REALLY liked this one! Great characters, exciting action, good story! I'm glad to have it in my collection as I'm sure I will watch it many more times!

Lots of action...was surprised when the Russian Captain...boarded the American submarine...to help them get safely into the Russian harbor...that was heavily mined...

Great movie, I love a good sub flick. This one didn't disappoint. I realize it's subs, a bit more naval combat would have made me happier. There was fighting on land, but minimal at sea.
