We had never heard of this movie, but we were pleasantly surprised by it. Very interesting premise. Don't want to give it away, but being sifi movie enthusiast, we really enjoyed it.

I don't know why this got panned as badly as it did. Yes, it's a little derivative, but it definitely is some good, gory fun. It isn't perfect, but I like it enough to buy it and watch it now and then.

Yes, I know it's slightly predictable, but really, if we examine the possibility of intelligent life elsewhere, there really are only two options.1) friendly a la "Arrival"2) death a la "Aliens"So, with that realistic look at it, I found the movie enjoyable. It had moments I didn't expect and an alien that creeped me out. If you're expecting something "new", just remember that there are only 7 basic plots in the world. Everything is just an interpretation of those.I liked it. Would totally watch it again.

i really enjoyed this movie i thought it was a fun alien sci-fi movie with a very plausible plot that i could def see happening, although this movie doesnt do anything new within the horror sc-fi spectrum its still a fun movie to watch. im seeing soo many 1 star reviews just because they didnt like the ending which is retarded because i thought the ending was fine and kinda funny and i like that they left it open for a sequel.

I liked this movie but I am also a little angry about it. It was well made with clearly a strong budget but if I wanted to watch a rip-off of Alien, I would watch Stranded, another rip-off of Alien starring Christian Slater. Life stars Ryan Reynolds who does a good job with his role in this very good movie but it cannot take away from the fact that this idea is now old and overused. Scary and intense at times but the scares are easily recognizable. This movie is very good but operates on an overused storyline. No ranting, just sayin'.

the idea of all science fiction movies is the fact that humanity wants alien interaction. Most movies give just that, the idea we could tag bag and gut alien forms in any situation, even ET. It would be amazing to see this life form continue to mature and thrive not only off humanity, by golly it would short of humanity, and where it would decide to go and evolve into next

One of my favorite movies! I love the acting and cinematography as well as the writing. It's a well done film. I usually hate space movies because directors somehow always find a way to make them boring. But not this one, one of my favorite films EVER!

So, it borrowed some ideas from "Alien", and maybe "Gravity", too, but hey, a space station is a space station, and there's only 1 right now.. The movie had some interesting concepts for the life form. It had realistic microgravity. It was well acted. It was suspenseful. It had plot twists. It kept me on the edge of my seat.And, I would definitely watch the sequel.

Ok. Wow. If you liked Alien, you WILL like this film. Period. The premise is very similar, which might initially turn some people off (almost happened to me), HOWEVER, the stakes in this movie are higher and the twists are more suspenseful, rendering this a unique experience. Give this movie a chance, you will not be disappointed. Coming from someone who HATES modern reboots, this movie pleasantly surprised me.
