This movie gets a lot of hate from my girlfriend but I actually enjoy it thoroughly. Pretty original concept, which in today's political climate... gives us some food for thought and fuel for our nightmares. With that said, enjoy the show!

This movie was okay. It wasn't what I expected. Half way through it I looked at my husband and said "I don't really want to finish this but at the same time I still wanna know how it ends" he felt the same way.

The entire concept is hard to get you head around. This movie was great to watch and had many twists and turns. I had heard that the ratings on this movie were not that great. I was a bit leary to pay for something I might not like. Well it was well worth it and I am looking forward to the second one that will be coming out. Go for it....it's one way to get rid of a class of people! Yikes.

Very good psycho thriller movie that will really scare sheit out of you. But why can鈥檛 they just torch the house down and drive the people out? I guess that would take some of the fun out.

This is a disturbing image of a future world where one night a year, all law and order is gone. It is almost a "Clockwork Orange," but from the victim's point of view. The movie asks us to consider if humanity/empathy will prevail. It makes one think, and worth a watch, but be prepared to squirm in some intense scenes.

You owe it to yourself to watch this excellent thought provoking movie.What if there was one night a year where people could commit whatever criminal acts they want with complete impunity?What would you do? Would you kill? Would you turn over an innocent man to killers to save your family? Would you fight to protect him? What would your actions teach your kids?There were a few predictable scenes in the movie, but that did not detract at all from this very enjoyable experience.

It is interesting, the idea of highly civilized, suburban, upper-middle-class society falling apart when the artificial construct of law is removed. In execution it felt a little silly at times, though I understand the purpose of comic relief with tension, I think this one could have played it straight for the five stars.

I really wasn't expecting much from this movie and decided to rent it anyway. I was surprised that I really liked it in the end. The actors did a pretty good job and I felt entertained throughout the whole movie. I know it mostly focuses on one family rather than the people who probably have it the hardest. However, I've pretty sure that's the whole point of the movie. It focuses on them because they endorse it and never expect that this sort of thing would happen to them.
