Silent Hill

Having not played the Silent Hill games or watched the movie before, I figured I would since I've always had a slight interest. Wasn't expecting anything very deep, but the movie was interesting and the visuals were definitely the best part. There are plenty of times when you'l think the main character isn't very smart, but that becomes less of an issue around halfway through. Worth a watch for sure.

Horror meets urban legend meets Disney ending.

good acting, good effects, memorable moments, good scares, good monsters, as a person that played the game i am happy with this movie adaptation. seen it many times and will continue to do so on those slow cold winter nights or around halloween.

Very well written and perfect if your looking to watch a creepy movie with sinister scenes and creepy music love. Love scary movies.

As advertised

With the premier of the newest Silent Hill hitting the movie theater's, I had to buy this movie immediately. It arrived really quick, but the DVD case itself was broken and the disk was just flopping around the case. Luckily there was no damage on the disk and I didn't have to send it back!!! Over all I am happy with the purchase and very happy I didn't have to deal with sending it back.The movie is great, the ending has something to be desired, but non the less its a horror flick. If you like this type of movie, then I definitely suggest to add this one

This Blu-ray movie was worth the $14. It has decent video quality (not the best, but acceptable) and good sound quality. If you already own the DVD then an upconverter will probably be close to this Blu-ray copy. The movie is one of the better video game adaptations that has been made. Not quite near the quality of Resident Evil in my opinion, but this is still a very enjoyable movie. I gave this Blu-ray 4 stars out of 5 because the story, aduio, and picture quality were very good as a whole. Very happy with this purchase.

Love this movie, best video game adaptation there is, hands down. The reason I'm giving four stars is that the case I received is not the same as the one being advertised, so be warned. It's the regular DVD cover, not the one featured of just the girls face and the title at the bottom that has posted. It isn't a huge deal but I was disappointed none the less.

First with regard to Blu-Ray, I suspect the above reviewer was using an inferior television. The picture was sharp and superb almost to the point of distraction sometimes, but I suppose that's the point of using Blu-Ray.As for the movie, when I saw it had Radha Mitchell (from Pitch Black) and Sean Bean I knew that this would not be a standard shocker, and I was not disappointed.The movie throws subtle clues about what's going on to accumulate and fall together at the end for a touching and rewarding 'wow'. This movie stuck with me through the night after I watched it and put all the pieces together neatly with appreciation for the writing as well as the directing and acting.I'm extremely pleased I waited for this movie to come out on blu-ray before I saw it, too.

Note ive never played a silent hill game in my life but I actually liked this movie though the ending confused me for a moment. As for the disc and case they both were perfect the disc wasn't scratched
