This guy tells us a story of how much our government knows about each of us and what they are capable of doing with that information.It’s pretty eye opening to say the least. You can judge whether he’s a criminal or a patriot.

This was the best concise depiction of why we must disregard all POLITICAL affiliations! We thought obama was going to stop this.. but he RAISED spying and abusing the FISA. SO MUCH abuse on spying on normal citizens and they're watching us. EVERY little sex pic you people post or record.. it's being WATCHED. It's sick and it has to stop.EVERY PURCHASE you make, everywhere you go, ever stop you make.. they're watching!!! It's been going on since I knew in the 1990s!!!!

Absolutely riveting, and, I hope for the most, awakening. The tenets of what makes democracy are reexamined and the ostensibly well-intending individuals are unveiled. The truths are harder to digest, and, to many, too esoteric or unrelatable, although every minutiae affects them directly in their daily lives.If one is bored watching this movie, then that is quite worrisome (not for me, but for them). The old adage still holds; if it sounds too good to be true, question it, even if it is as familiar and American as the apple pie.I really enjoyed peeking into the fragments of Snowden’s experiences.

An exceptionally well-done biopic *cum* expose' on the outrageously arrogant and Orwellian activities and motivations of the NSA, CIA, and government in general. Snowden comes off as a noble man of the highest integrity, willing to do and sacrifice whatever it took to reveal to the world the kind of 1984 system operated and spearheaded by the US government. This is an ESSENTIAL movie in the ongoing campaign of waking Americans and the world up to the true nature and intentions of government. Also includes interview questions with the real Edward Snowden. Buy this DVD and show it to as many people as possible!

Gripping

Many factors were previously unknown to me. I learned a lot about Mr Snowden. He is to be admired for his courage.

Ive been wanting to see this since I saw Oliver Stone's interviews the week it came out in late 2016. It was a good intro into the story, and as I thought about it after, I wonder why there was nothing about the family he came from . Just said he came from a family where his parents were unable to support him. This is clearly not the full story, but I thought it covered what it could in an entertaining way.

Over the last week I have watched Oliver Stone's 'Untold History of the United States', 'The Putin Interviews' and now, 'Snowden'. Say what you will about Mr. Stone, but give him credit for striving to find out, through studying history and its key contributors, how we arrived at where we are. While much of what he shows is alarming, he still leaves us with hope - stressing that it is never too late, we may not know our leaders (past and present) as well as we think we do, and the enemy at the gate just may be our greatest partner in saving the world from terrorist regimes...and ourselves.

This film had me glued to my computer screen. Great acting by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and the rest of the actors--It seems to be brilliant and well made movie by Oliver Stone. However, I must go back and watch it again. Reading the comments and reviews helped to clarify a few things after my first view...Regarding the comments claiming the movie was too boring-- my guess is they did not expect such a cerebral film, and it is definately one that has to be thought out and watched closely. "I'll Be Back..."

Excellent movie with an excellent cast...Joseph Gordon Levitt is an outstanding and very gifted actor, he should win or at least be nominated for an Oscar IMO...And ask yourselves, would you do what Eric Snowden did?, I certainly would, my father and his generation fought, bled and died in WWII for thebill of rights and against governments that would blatantly violate them...And if this country ever wakes up and rebels against the governments we have had, the Bush, Obama and Trump crime families, they should allbe judged just like the Nuremberg trials...After all, that's why they had the trial, to set a precedent for the future...
