What a romp! I loved it; strange, quirky and true. If you like stories about show business, this is a good one that will hold your interest. Franco--so perfect. I loved seeing cameos of favorites like Seth Rogan. Thoroughly entertaining! Sometimes friendship matters more than art

I've never seen The Room, and honestly don't have the desire too. That being said, this movie is awesome and I highly recommend it.. made me laugh, made me feel a little bad for Tommy, and made me laugh again. It is a great movie with a great story and meaning. Like I said, I highly recommend it.

Interesting topic matter - didn't have any preconceived thoughts going in...glad I rented. Superior performances all around and a crazy ass story line...with mysteries still unsolved (where did the dude get his $$).

In order to really understand this movie, you need to watch "The Room" first. James Franco portrays 'Johnny' perfectly! This has to be Franco's best performance! This movie & "The Room" are horrible movies but that's what makes them classics!!!
