My favorite movie of all time. The cast was perfect, the music captivating, the scenery breathtaking.

But this movie while taking liberties with the original work, is a beautiful and sweeping epic; substantially aided by breathtaking scenery, masterful cinimatography and moving scoring. This edition does not include the Clanad orginal song. Not suitable for students trying to avoid reading the difficult original work, but is a great period piece with enough action for the boys and smoldering romance for the girls.

I saw this movie when it was first released and I remember they showed subtitles for the Native People's dialogue. For some reason, it is not shown here.

I LOVE this movie. I have played it multiple times and I never get tired of it. This is history handed to you in a thrilling way...and Russell Means is a great supporting actor.
