Those who have power will try to hide the truth for a political gain. The truth will always surface. This movie is about the biggest cover up of murder of Polish POW by Soviets during WWII. Beautiful and full of tension. Very sad but worth watching every minute of it!

An excellent film and a good, dramatic portrayal wound around the actual history behind it. Though the story may be a bit contrived and even disturbing, the essence of the history behind it is based on facts. Wonderfully done, very engaging, and the dark, stark cinematography adds to the mood of the film. Wonderfully done.

The Last Witness deals with one of the worst and bloodiest cover ups in world history. World War II began with the Nazi invasion of Poland at the beginning of Sept. 1939. Simultaneously, the Soviet Union invaded eastern Poland. The two totalitarian regimes equally divided their conquests.
