I just need to re-watch everything with my husband. It is a must. Plus, I feel I like to see how time has changed, media has pushed ideas on society, influenced decisions, thoughts, actions, activities and development. It is thought provoking to watch movies even from a few years ago.

Aren't we all just living in our own Truman-like reality? Aren't the networks constantly contriving to manipulate us via solicitation? After speaking about a topic, don't you wonder how your phone, or the ads in between the episodes you watch, reflect everything that you've said? Bezos is Christof.

One of my favorite movies. Looks and sounds exactly how I remember it. Just wish there were a bit more extras, as I was able to get through all 3 of the behind-the-scenes featurettes fairly quickly. Otherwise, a good, cheap purchase if you wish to own the movie physically.

I have a teenager and I struggle to find movies that we both enjoy. One day he told me that he felt as if everything around him was fake. So purchased this movie. It's about Truman. He doesn't know his entire life has been filmed and everything and everyone around him is putting on show. My son actually liked the movie. It didn't take long for everything to unravel. Which is big for kids these days since they don't have the patience for movies that take a while to get to climax.And If you're wondering, watching this movie didn't put my sons suspicions at ease. Pero, whatever. He'll live.

I love this movie. I consider it a perfect film. There may be individual parts of it that aren't as perfect as some might prefer, but even so for this movie I believe it is greater than the some of its pieces. The first time I watched it, I was stunned. I didn't know what say, feel, or think after riding such an expertly executed emotional rollercoaster. The plot, framing device, the characters/actors, the setting, and music all woven together with precision. I regularly listen to the soundtrack decades later. My only complaint is that I can't force myself to forget all of it so I could experience that first time again. It's really that good.
