I am very late to the whole 50 Shade phenomenon, as I just finished 50 Shades Darker. After finishing the first book, I watched the movie, and figured I would just continue doing so. Although it disappoints me that there were a lot of scenes either missing or shortened, this was still a great movie, especially since it didn't leave me crying with a broken heart (in a good way) as the first movie did. I am very happy I finally started reading these books.

I could not pass up watching this movie since i saw the first one. I was a bit skeptical about this movie though but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! This movie contained an actual storyline, drama and of course chemistry. The acting in this movie was fairly good (the supporting actors were a hit or miss) and i felt the chemistry was more on point with this movie. When you hear the name of these movies you automatically think sex but with this movie there was more than just that. The storyline kept you engaged and the chemistry between the lead actors made it easy to watch.

I didn't mind the changes from the book to the movie version. It gives you something new to watch considering you read the book and you already know what's gonna happen. I do miss the fact that the doctor wasn't included in the movie but they made it a little more intimate between Anastasia and Christian. I think Jaime Dorman improved his portrayal of Christian in this installment of the series. I'm looking forward to seeing what surprises they have in the next installment. The only downside for me was with the digital version I didn't receive all the bells and whistles. I like being able to watch on my tablet or mobile devices and not have to wait to watch on a DVD. That saying I definitely love these movies!
