I saw this in the theatre and was absolutely excited and nervous about it's production. I am pleased to say that when the credits rolled I was extremely pleased and thrilled. This is a FUN movie, a nice story, entertaining, and a departure from the Marvel branded movies that have come before it.I appreciate that they took some liberties with the story to help Venom become its own character in a space not currently occupied with Spider-man, to be understood. Although the drama between Mary Jane, Spider-Man, and Venom will be missed, the rest of the story was truly wonderfully done.Also, Tom Hardy. I hope that this saga continues, I hope that the story line and budget can improve, and I hope that Tom continues to take this role seriously and with pride!

The thing that makes the venom movies stand out is that they are funny and action packed. Eddie finds himself in a unique predicament when he becomes the only feasible host for Venom. An entity that transforms him in many ways.Great film for movie night!

If you're expecting a Marvel quality movie you aren't gonna get it. I think that's why a lot of people are disappointed. But this movie isn't bad, it's pretty funny and a good way to pass the time.

This one flew under the radar for me when it came out in theaters, so wasnt really sure what to expect. Overall, I enjoyed it. However (minor spoilers) I felt it was lacking somewhere, I think it was the final fight. It just didnt feel like a main boss fight. Other Marvel movies felt like there was more body to their final fights, but thats just my feeling on it. Again, I enjoyed the movie. Would be worth the rental price, but I watched it with Starz subscription ^_^

I only buy videos I REALLY LIKE. I bought this so ....I never read about Venom in comics, nor did I read any movie reviews. I expected a monster and lots of action, but did not expect the "getting to know you" relationship with Brock or the amount of laughs.My only complaint would be Anne's "school girl" outfit. 1) she is a lawyer, 2) this is not anime . More people than 7th grade boys watch this type of film. Keep demeaning women and you'll guarantee that only 7th grade boys buy tickets.PS I am Japanese descent and a professional woman.
